Adoption Fees Waived At Valley Humane Society In December

Peek-a-Boo, a Tuxedo cat, and Allure, with her littler of puppies, are among the animals who need a home for the holidays.

PLEASANTON, CA — Valley Humane Society in Pleasanton is waiving adoption fees for the rest of the month.

They hope to send cats and dogs home with new families to cozy up with this holiday season. Adoption applications can be filled out online.

There are many pets awaiting new homes, but sassy 3-year-old tuxedo cat Peek-a-Boo is among them, the humane society said. She loves birdwatching, quietly gazing out windows and lounging on the "catio." The humane society will continue to cover the cost of her prescription diet to treat bladder stones for the first year after her adoption.
