Ashanti To Perform At Alameda County Fair

PLEASANTON, CA — The Alameda County Fair has released the remainder of the acts performing this summer at the Big O Tires Concert Series.

Ashanti, one of the biggest hip hop and R&B singers of the 2000s, will join E-40, Jesse McCartney, LeAnn Rimes, the Gin Blossoms, and many more on the Pleasanton stage this summer.

Ashanti is a bestselling and Grammy Award-winning artist known for singles like “What’s Luv?”, “Foolish,” and “Always on Time.” In 2002, she became the first female to occupy the top two positions on the Billboard Hot 100 chart, thanks to “What’s Luv?” and “Always on Time.” Her debut album was certified triple platinum, and won eight Billboard Music Awards, two American Music Awards, and a Grammy Award for Best Contemporary R&B Album.

She has also acted in films like “Coach Carter” and “The Muppets Wizard of Oz.”

Tickets are available to see Ashanti and ten other artists on the stage this summer. Reserved seats to see E-40 on June 29 are sold out, but beacher seats are available that day with general fair admission while supplies last.
