Pleasanton Seniors And High Schoolers Create Blankets For Rescue Dogs
Stoneridge Creek Seniors and California High Schoolers Join Forces for Intergenerational Events Aimed to Support Rescue Pups

PLEASANTON, CA — Stoneridge Creek residents and California High Schoolers are crating cozy blankets for Love and Second Chances, a Bay Area dog rescue program.
Together, the group hand-ties blankets for the pups in need. The group started work on the project on Friday, March 14 at Stoneridge Creek senior living community in Pleasanton. So far, they've created 23 blankets to be donated.

The Love and Second Chances organization holds a special place in the hearts of many Stoneridge Creek seniors, who have adopted furry friends from the organization. As a pet-friendly retirement community in the Bay Area, the residents will bring their dogs along for the blanket-making sessions.
