Driver Robbed at Gunpoint at Shell Station on Santa Rita Road

Victim was filling his tires with air Wednesday night when man with a gun threatened to shoot him if he didn't cooperate.

A man armed with a small silver handgun robbed a driver who was putting air in his tires at the Santa Rita Shell station Wednesday night, according to a Pleasanton Police Department press release.

According to police, the robber threatened to shoot the victim if he didn't cooperate.

Stolen were a watch, wallet, iPhone, Louis Vuitton shoes and belt and a 49er bag containing a #84 Randy Moss jersey and a 49er jacket. The iPhone was later found nearby.

The suspect, described as a white or Hispanic male, left the scene with a woman driving a mid 2000s, two-door, Silver Acura CL, unknown California license plate, heading eastbound on Pimlico. The robbery took place around 9:45 p.m.

The suspect is believed to be 23 to 28 years old, 5’10”, 130-140 pounds, brown eyes, unknown color hair. He was wearing a gray hooded sweatshirt, with black baseball cap underneath and blue jeans. The suspect had a dark tattoo, possibly an animal print on the left side of his neck and several days’ worth of facial hair.
