E-40 To Play 2024 Alameda County Fair
Celebrated Bay Area rapper E-40 and two other artists have been confirmed for the 2024 lineup.
PLEASANTON, CA — Famed Bay Area rapper E-40 will perform again at the Alameda County Fair this summer, the fair announced. The Vallejo native performed June 29, 2023 at the Big O Tires Concert Series, and will perform again June 20 at the Lucky Amphitheater.
“With millions of records sold, nationwide sold out shows, loved in the streets, boardrooms, and respected amongst his peers, E-40 continues to reign supreme as a testament of longevity, relevance, and hustle,” fair organizers wrote.
E-40, whose real name is Earl Stevens, was born and raised in Vallejo, and graduated from James J. Hogan High School in 1985. He is a founding member of the rap group the Click, and of Sick Wid It Records. He has released 26 studio albums to date, and is best known for his 2006 single “Tell Me When To Go.”

Two other performers have been confirmed, with many more to come. Hunter Hayes, a five-time Grammy-nominated country and R&B singer, will perform on July 5. Hayes has released six gold and platinum-certified singles, garnered over 50 award nominations, toured with superstars like Taylor Swift and Carrie Underwood, and even performed for then-President Bill Clinton at a White House lawn party at age seven.
Fast Times, an 80s rock cover band who performed at the “Stranger Things” season 3 launch party, will perform July 6. Concerts will run from June 14 to July 7, and 20 more performers will be named in the coming months. Last summer, stars like Ashanti, LeAnn Rimes, and Jesse McCartney all played.
