Fall Book and Media Sale: Sept. 11, 12, 13, and 14

Twice a year, the Friends of the Pleasanton Library sponsor book and media sales to raise money for library programs and special needs. Your participation in these sales is not just about finding great deals but also about making a significant contribution to the development and advancement of the library. The Friends typically raise almost $15,000 at each sale, a substantial amount that directly supports the library. The book sales are packed with unique finds and excellent deals. You'll be sure to find special treasures and hidden gems.

The next book sale at the Pleasanton Library will be held September 11-14. On Thursday, members are offered early access from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., and the public is invited from 2 to 7 p.m. On Friday and Saturday, the sale is open to all from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. On Sunday from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., get a bag of books (bag provided) for just $7.00.

Organizers say, "Our bi-annual book sale is a great place to find wonderful treasures and gifts — or just a good book or two for yourself and your family. We always have an incredible selection of adult and children's books, DVDs, CDs, games, and puzzles."
The sale features thousands of donated items from the community, so there is something for everyone's interests. (Your donations of books, CDs, DVDs, vinyl LPs, games, puzzles, and magazines make a tremendous difference!)
