Foothill Band Review Parade, Halloween Zom-Brew Crawl Coming To Pleasanton
This Saturday, enjoy marching band and color guard performances, then enjoy brews and Halloween fun downtown.
PLEASANTON, CA — It's going to be a festive Saturday in Pleasanton. Starting at 8:30 a.m., the Foothill High School Marching Band and Color Guard will host the 51st annual Foothill Band Review, a cherished local tradition bringing together marching bands from across the region. The band hosts the parade after coming in 1st place in the categories of Music, General Effect, Percussion, and Color Guard at their first competition of the season in Brentwood.
The parade will take place in downtown Pleasanton from 8:30 a.m. until 12:30 p.m. along Main Street. Foothill's ensemble is scheduled to perform at approximately 8:40 a.m. Starting at 3:30 p.m., over 20 bands are expected to participate in the Field Show Competition, which will take place at the Foothill High School Stadium. The Foothill band is expected to take the field at 9 p.m. Saturday.
The Pleasanton Downtown Association is hosting the Halloween com-brew Crawl from 8 to 8 p.m. Visitors dressed in their best costumes can sample brews at over 20 participating locations downtown while enjoying live music and Halloween-themed activities. Participants will receive a commemorative glass for their beer tastings after checking in at the Museum on Main at 603 Main Street. See here for tickets.
