Hacienda Business Park Reports Strong First Half

New tenants to include Iron Planet, Safari Kid, an energy company and a social software maker, according to General Manager James Paxson.

Hacienda Business Park is reporting growth in tenants in the first half, with more than 175,000 square feet of transactions and three new developments underway, according to a report posted on Pleasanton Patch.

“Hacienda has seen slow and steady growth through the first half of 2013” said James Paxson, Hacienda’s general manager. “Additional leasing is expected to occur in the near future that should allow us to see the same type of progress over the next few quarters.”

Several notable transactions occurred in the first half of 2013. Major commitments were made by companies in a variety of business segments, including: Iron Planet (online marketplace), Safari Kid (academic heritage school), Schneider Electric (energy management) and Spigit, Inc. (social innovation software).

Two new developments also received approvals during the first half of 2013. St. Anton Hacienda received approval for a 168-unit apartment complex and a mixed-use development, consisting of 305 apartment units and nearly 7,500 square feet of retail, adjacent to the California Center, was also approved.
A third project, a new facility for Mercedes-Benz of Pleasanton, received approvals at the beginning of the year and is due to be completed within the next few months.
