High School Students help the Homeless

Foothill High School JustServe Club makes blessing bags for the homeless

At the October JustServe Club meeting, fifty students turned out to make blessing bags for a homeless refuge in Livermore. The students packaged one hundred bags containing miscellaneous food items and personal hygiene products. The hygiene products included shampoo, body wash, skin creams, and Aquaphor donated by the Golden State Dermatology offices in San Ramon and Livermore.

Donna from the refuge sent this note to the club members: “You have touched the lives and helped people you have never met and don't know. I can speak for them, they are grateful for your kindness and care. You give "hope" when often there is little or none”.

A big thank you to all the club members that helped bless the lives of so many!
