PLEASANTON, CA — Pleasanton’s in for a weekend of holiday magic. On Friday, Santa and Mrs. Claus are headed to Museum on Main for free photos, live music and caroling. Visitors will also enjoy free hot chocolate and raffle opportunities.
Events will start at 4 p.m., and the line for photos with Santa will close at 6:45 p.m. Thirty-minute caroling and handbell performances will take place at 5 and 6 p.m.
Guests are also encouraged to bring unwrapped interactive, educational toys and activities to donate to Alternative Family Services, which cares for foster children 18 and under.

The parade will proceed south along Main Street, and end in front of the Museum on Main for the tree lighting ceremony, which will feature another appearance by Santa. Main Street will close starting at 2:30 p.m.
The parade is rain or shine. In 2022, the parade was canceled due to heavy rain, but the tree lighting ceremony was not.
