PLEASANTON, CA — When times are tough, heroes emerge. And the Tri-Valley is full of them.
We all know someone who's making a difference right now as we live through unprecedented times. Here at Patch, we've launched an initiative to help recognize these everyday heroes.

Why do you believe the nominee should be recognized or honored?
Craig Eicher is serving as the Interim Chief of Police during an unprecedented time for the City. While intended to be a temporary assignment until the newly hired Chief Swing was in place, Craig continues to lead the organization because Chief Swing's start date has been delayed.
What’s one thing you want everyone to know about your hero?:
Craig's commitment, selfless service to the citizens of Pleasanton.
