Letter To The Editor: Jen Flynn For School Board Area 4

After 50-plus years serving the community and students of Pleasanton, I am supporting JEN FLYNN for the next Trustee in PUSD Area 4. Unlike Jen’s opponent, Jen has put in the time, preparation, and has the experience to be a valuable member of the school board. JEN KNOWS PLEASANTON!

Jen’s children attend Pleasanton schools; she is a past employee of the district. Jen is the vice- chair of the Budget Advisory Committee, a valuable member of PPIE, and, most importantly, Jen has the time to fulfill the trustee's obligations. It is common for a trustee to have 15-plus commitments/meetings in a month during the day and/or at night. As a teacher in the Bay Area, her opponent cannot do justice to both responsibilities. To fulfill his trustee obligations, he will need to either be away from his students or limit his daytime trustee obligations.
