PLEASANTON, CA — The Livermore-Pleasanton Fire Department is hosting a Fire Safety Expo. The expo, which will be held Saturday from 8 a.m. to noon at the LPFD Training Tower on 3333 Busch Road in Pleasanton, will feature a mix of fire safety training and fun, kid-friendly events.

Families will enjoy:

  • A free pancake breakfast
  • Fire safety information, including lithium-ion battery safety, fire sprinklers, and more
  • Prize giveaways
  • Firefighter duck races
  • Pong Toss
  • Live demos, including rooftop rescue
  • Interactive fire safety house
  • Fire extinguisher training
  • Meet and greet with Sparky the Fire Dog
  • New Type 6 fire truck
  • Crime scene booth from the Pleasanton Police Department
  • Disaster preparedness information
