Masked Men Steal Thousands In Merchandise From Apple Store
There have been several organized retail theft cases in this upscale suburban nook of the Bay Area this month.
PLEASANTON, CA — Two masked men stole thousands in merchandise from the Apple Store at the Stoneridge Mall Monday afternoon, according to the Pleasanton Police Department. The suspects remain at large as of Tuesday.
At around 4:15 p.m., two men dressed in black wearing ski masks entered the Apple store and stole over a dozen items, including iPhones and MacBooks. The value of the stolen items exceeds $21,000, police spokesperson Teri Yan told Patch.
Both suspects were gone by the time officers arrived. No injuries were reported as a result of the robbery. Yan told Pleasanton Weekly that the suspects were not armed.

Earlier this month, three suspects were arrested after investigators allege they loaded bags full of Lululemon merchandise and attempted to flee in a waiting vehicle. Officials said an estimated $5,800 in stolen merchandise was discovered inside their car.
In nearby San Ramon, two women were arrested earlier this month in connection with a burglary at the Sephora City Center. Police allege they had stolen over $3,000 in merchandise.
