Over 445K People Attend Alameda County Fair 2023

The numbers are in, and the fair saw large gains in everything from competitive exhibit entries to charity food donations.

PLEASANTON, CA — The public visited, volunteered and competed in the Alameda County Fair in ever-increasing numbers, according to statistics released by the Alameda County Fair.

A total of 445,032 people attended over 24 days, a six-percent increase from 2022, when 418,553 people attended. The fair also saw large gains in pounds of pet food donated, (up 269 percent), pounds of food donated to Feed the Need (up 76%), and candy apples purchased (134 percent).

“We were thrilled that so many people came out to enjoy the ‘Summer Vibes’ at the Fair this year,” Alameda County Fairgrounds COO Angel Moore said in a statement. “Every year, we look forward to bringing the community together to have fun and make memories that will last for years to come.”
