Her parents must be so proud
Don’t you think?

How I wish I could be her
With that confidence I never have
How I wish I could shine
Like she can

It seems that when the galaxy was born
The stars blessed her so
It seems that when the sun shined
I was kept in the shadows

So why is it?
She’s crying so?
When her entire life is perfect

But perhaps she’s not perfect
Though she seems so on the outside
Maybe she’s like us?
Just a little good at lies.

Maybe when I stare at her in jealousy
I do not see inside
Maybe?

Maybe she’s like me?
But different too
Like the moon and sun combined

Maybe,
When she shines
She hides her tears inside

Is it true?
I do not know
But I shall not cave into my jealousy

Because perhaps, when the galaxy formed
The stars blessed us both with agony
