PG&E Hosting Community Information Session In Pleasanton
Residents affected by recent blackouts are encouraged to attend to ask experts questions.

PLEASANTON, CA — PG&E is hosting a community information event in Pleasanton in response to the many recent power outages.
Outages were frequent over the hot summer, particularly in west Pleasanton along Foothill Road. One Pleasanton resident told Pleasanton Weekly that outages can occur up to three times a week. Another reported eight outages over the past six weeks, one of which lasted about 12 hours. On Sept. 10, a total of 7,286 PG&E customers across Pleasanton, Livermore, and Dublin were all without power.
A meeting to address these concerns will take place Monday, Oct. 6 from 5:30 to 7 p.m. at the Pleasanton Senior Center at 5353 Sunol Boulevard. The event will feature small-group stations where attendees can meet with subject matter experts to ask one-on-one questions and learn what PG&E is doing to improve service.
