Pleasanton Election: PUSD Race Very Close

Just 119 votes separate two candidates in a school board race.

PLEASANTON, CA — The races affecting Pleasanton remain relatively unchanged as of Monday at 2:58 p.m., the last time Alameda County updated its results. The totals have not yet been officially certified as final by the county, and the race for PUSD Board Area 4 remains separated by just over 100 votes.

  1. Jack Balch: 14,266 votes (54.82%)
  2. Karla Brown: 11,757 votes (45.18%)

City Council, District 2

  1. Craig Eicher: 3,673 votes (55.11%)
  2. Valerie Arkin: 2,992 votes (44.89%)

City Council, District 4

  1. Kelly Mokashi: 3,136 (55.65%)
  2. Donalyn Harris: 2,499 (44.35%)

PUSD Area 4

  1. Charlie Jones: 2,609 (51.17%)
  2. Jen Flynn: 2,490 (48.83%)
