Pleasanton Firefighters Rescue Woman Stuck In Muddy Ravine: Report
First responders rescued a woman who got stuck in Shadow Cliffs Lake in Pleasanton on Saturday.
PLEASANTON, CA — Park rangers and firefighters pulled a woman to safety on Saturday from the mud at Shadow CliffsLake in Pleasanton, according to a media report.
The woman was trailing her dog down the ravine when she followed her dog down a steep slope, where she became trapped in a swampy foot of water. She called for help around 3:33 p.m., East Bay Regional Park District spokesperson Dave Mason told the San Francisco Chronicle.
The woman and her dog were rescued and hoisted safely back up the embankment, the newspaper reported.
