Pleasanton Hometown Holiday Parade Seeking Floats, Sponsors, Volunteers, Announcers

Applications are open to get involved in the city's annual celebration, which will take place Dec. 6.

PLEASANTON, CA — The city of Pleasanton is accepting parade registration, volunteer applications, announcer audition signups, and sponsorships for its annual Hometown Holiday Celebration, which will take place Saturday, Dec. 6. The parade will feature festive floats, cars, marching bands, community organizations, and is followed by a community tree lighting and entertainment.

Applications for parade entries must be submitted by Sunday, Nov. 23, and the registration fee must be paid by 5 p.m. on Monday, Dec. 1.

The city is also seeking businesses who would like to be a presenting sponsor of the parade, either as a community sponsor, a supporting stage sponsor, or as an in-kind refreshment donor.

The city is also seeking volunteers for numerous roles, including as parade marshals, set up, tear down, and more. Opportunities are open to individuals 16 and older.

The city is also seeking parade announcers. Auditions will be held Nov. 17-18 from 6-7 p.m. Anyone 16 or older is welcome to submit an application.
