Pleasanton School Calendar 2018-19: First Day Of School And More

PLEASANTON, CA — The first day of school in Pleasanton is August 13 — and whether you and the kids are looking forward to the new school year or are dreading the end of summer, you’ll want to mark the date on your calendar ASAP. The Pleasanton School District has released its 2018-2019 calendar for public schools.

The calendar includes important dates such as winter and spring vacations, religious holidays, federal holidays, early dismissals and parent-teacher conferences.

November

• 11/1: Grades TK-12 Minimum Day
• 11/2: No School (Staff Development)
• 11/9: Minimum Day (Grades 4-5)
• 11/13 - 11/15: Grades TK-5 Minimum Day
• 11/16: No School for Grades TK-5
• 11/19 - 11/23: No School (Thanksgiving Break)

December

• 12/24 - 12/31: No School (Holiday Recess)

January

• 1/1 - 1/4: No School (Holiday Recess)
• 1/7: No School (Grades 6-12)
• 1/21: No School (Martin Luther King Jr. Day)

February

• 2/11: No School
• 2/15: Grades TK-12 Minimum Day
• 2/18: No School (Presidents' Day)

March

• 3/15: No School

April

• 4/1 - 4/5: No School (Spring Recess)
• 4/19: No School

May

• 5/17: Grades TK-8 Minimum Day
• 5/27: No School (Memorial Day)
• 5/31: Last Day of School
