Pleasanton Soldier Honored in Illinois Memorial Wall

Jameson L Lindskog, a Pleasanton soldier killed in action, is one of several soldiers honored on a wall memorial in Marseilles, Illinois

Army specialist Jameson Lindskog died in March 2011 when his unit came under fire while he was trying to help another soldier. Lindskog was a medical technician. He joined the Army in 2008.

Lindskog, 23, is the first Pleasanton native to be killed in the Iraq and Afghanistan wars.

Lindskog was the son of Donna Walker of Pleasanton and Curtis Lindskog of Livermore.
