Pleasanton Teachers Endorse Charlie Jones and Kelly Mokashi

The Association of Pleasanton Teachers proudly supports Charlie Jones and Kelly Mokashi for their support of Pleasanton Students.

The Association of Pleasanton Teachers (APT) is proud to endorse Charlie Jones and Kelly Mokashi for the Pleasanton Unified School Board. Alongside our partners in CSEA, we support their candidacies for their demonstrated commitment to students, teachers, and staff. We urge all community members to cast their vote for Charlie Jones and Kelly Mokashi by November 5th.


Charlie Jones is a lifelong Pleasanton resident and a product of the Pleasanton school system, where he was inspired by his own teachers to pursue a career in education. As a civics teacher, he motivates his students to become active, engaged citizens. Now, Charlie is ready to bring that same passion to the school board. His priorities are clear: he will focus on students in every aspect of budgeting and decision-making to ensure that Pleasanton students receive the highest quality education.


Kelly Mokashi is running for re-election after a strong first term on the school board. Over the last four years, Kelly has consistently asked the tough questions and advocated for student-centered decisions. She has made it a priority to reach out to members and leadership, building a collaborative relationship based on mutual respect. Kelly's dedication to improving educational outcomes has ensured that Pleasanton students benefit from having the best teachers and support staff.
