PLEASANTON, CA — Clearly it runs in the family. Zoe Zabrowski, daughter of Much Ado About Pizza owners Kira and Mark Zabrowski, was named the 2025 Young Pizza Maker of the Year after winning first place at the Young Pizza Makers Competition in Orlando, Florida.

Zoe competed against skilled pizza makers - officially called pizzaioli - from across the country at the competition at the Florida Restaurant Show and Pizza Tomorrow Summit in Orlando. She received top marks for technique, creativity, and determination. She also received a special honor from the U.S. Pizza Team, who presented her with a Pizza Prodigy recognition and chef coat.

“This win means so much because I’ve watched Zoe pour her heart into this,” Kira Zabrowski said of her daughter. “She worked so hard on creating her pizza, and even when she had failed attempts, she never gave up. Her perseverance and passion are what make this moment so special. We couldn’t be more proud.”
