Pleasanton Voices Endorse Jack Balch, Craig Eicher & Vivek Mohan

We are pleased to announce that Pleasanton Voices endorsements for the November 2024 election are: For Mayor – Jack Balch; for City Council, District 2 – Craig Eicher; for City Council, District 4 – Vivek Mohan.

The city is facing unprecedented issues of a budget crisis, procuring safe drinking water, increasing police response times and turnover of officers. At a recent city council meeting, the current council majority appeared to be surprised at the financial ranking of the city among other cities in California.

Jack Balch, a current city council member, is a CPA, who served on the City Planning Commission and the Parks and Recreation Commission. Jack’s proven fiscal leadership makes him the most qualified candidate for Mayor of Pleasanton.

Craig Eicher is a retired 32 year police officer, having served the city as a Police Captain and Interim Police Chief during Covid. He knows how to run a City Department. Craig helps his Father-In-Law every holiday season set up and host Widmer World, a beloved holiday favorite in Pleasanton.

Vivek Mohan is a Fortune 500 Executive who understands budgets, planning and how to fix troubled companies.
Pleasanton Voices has determined that “It is time for a Change”, new leadership is needed to overcome these challenges, it doesn’t make sense to vote for the “status quo”.
