Pleasanton Voters Endorses Karla Brown, Valerie Arkin and Matt Gaidos

Experience, Integrity, Problem Solving Skills are Essential for Pleasanton's Future. Don't let your vote be bought by big campaign dollars

PleasantonVoters.com, a nonpartisan informational website, has endorsed Brown, Arkin and Gaidos for the November 2024 election.

Karla Brown, Valerie Arkin and Matt Gaidos are most prepared to meet the challenges ahead:

• Prevent over-development of Pleasanton
• Retain low crime levels and support our Police and Fire Fighters
• Continue to supply PFAS FREE drinking water
• Fund repairs for our aging water supply system
• Address General Fund Budget challenges.

Mayor Karla Brown, Councilmember Valerie Arkin and Candidate Matt Gaidos, have proven leadership abilities:

• They all took the voluntary campaign spending limit Pledge. This Pledge helps to eliminate BIG money coming into Pleasanton’s elections. Expect anyone that refused to take the Spending Pledge to use professional campaign teams, offer large and shiny brochures in the mail, and run an over-funded campaign battering you with dozens of flyers, texts and emails. We do not want that type of influence in Pleasanton’s politics.
• None of these candidates accept donations from Builders/Developersthat aim to buy influence
• They will work respectfully and collaboratively to resolve problems with council members, city staff and the community
• They collaborate with outside government agencies and they have a proven track record to resolve complex problems with the best of the community in mind
• They are committed to Smart Growth practices under State Mandates, and will advocate for neighborhoods, our historic downtown, and a jobs and housing balance.
