Political Yard Signs Appear All Over Pleasanton
Pleasanton will vote for a Mayor, City Council and School Board

Pleasanton City controls when political signs can appear in the city, this year’s date was Saturday, September 21st, so you now see political signage throughout the city and our neighbor’s yards.
Up for election is the Mayor, two City Council positions and two PUSD School board spots.
Our city has a large budget deficit, problems with safe drinking water, and needs to upgrade an aging infrastructure”. A recent supporter of the incumbents posted that we should re-elect them, because they have experience… seems that they have experience getting the city into budget problems, not solving them.
“IT’S TIME FOR A CHANGE”, WE NEED TO ELECT NEW FACES.
Craig Eicher is a newcomer to City Politics, but certainly not a newcomer to the city he loves.
Craig began a 32 year career as a volunteer in the Pleasanton Police Department, got hired and moved up the ranks to Captain and served as Interim Chief of Police for about 8 months during the Covid Pandemic. He has experience and knows how to run a city department..
In addition to his career, he served the residents of Pleasanton through volunteer service. He was Board President of Hope Hospice for 6 years, and facilitated them coming out of a million dollar debt to financial solvency. He founded the Police Officers Charitable Foundation to help the needy. He has been with the Foothill Band Boosters, the Chamber Foundation Board, helped Special Olympics and is President of the Pleasanton Community of Character Collaborative.
He has worked with his family to bring the “Widmer World Christmas Display” to Pleasanton for the past 30 years, bringing the holiday spirit to thousands.
He is endorsed by past City Managers of Pleasanton and four out of five current Pleasanton Unified School District Trustees.
