Questions Arise Over Campaign Funding-Do Your Homework
Campaign donation sources raise concerns

In reviewing the County of Alameda PUSD School Board campaign disclosures (https://ww.netfile.com>coa) I was concerned when I reviewed the candidate disclosures and found one disclosure in Area 4 that stands out. One candidate has amassed a reported $28,000+ in contributions.
The Association of Pleasanton teacher’s (APT) in its recent campaign publication has endorsed this same candidate. It claimed PUSD teachers have considered the candidates and, per APT, named their endorsed candidate to be the best choice. Many teachers say this is not true. The teachers were not allowed to vote for who they wanted to endorse. APT Leadership donated $16,000+ to the candidate’s campaign without apparent input from the teachers. I find this concerning. I’ve been in PUSD 53+ years, and I have never seen the PUSD APT spend such an exorbitant amount of money in support of a school board candidate.
Don’t be fooled by the APT endorsed Area 4 candidate’s slick mailings. They contain many misrepresentations! The majority of his supporters are not local. He is supported by many non-local political PACs. I find this concerning. We should keep PUSD decision-making local!

Do your homework and see who Pleasanton supporters are backing and then make your choice. I did my homework and I’m voting for Jen Flynn.
