Santa Claus Is Coming To Pleasanton: Where To See Him

PLEASANTON, CA — Visits and pictures with Santa Claus are treasured traditions for many Pleasanton families. In and around Pleasanton, kids have several chances to see jolly old St. Nick in person. Pleasanton:

• Magical Holiday Evening: Enjoy free photos with Santa and Mrs. Claus at Museum on Main, and a night of music, shopping specials, and family-friendly activities along Main Street. Dec. 6.
• Pleasanton Hometown Holiday Celebration: Enjoy a festive parade, and a tree lighting with Santa and local leaders. Dec. 7.
• Stoneridge Shopping Center: Nov: 3-7 M-F, 10-8 Sat., 12-6 Sun. Dec: 11-7, 7 days a week. Santa will also be available for children with special needs, pets, and for milk and cookies.

Livermore:

• Holiday Sights and Sounds Parade & Tree Lighting: Santa will be escorted by an LPFD truck and welcomed by local choirs for a countdown to light the tree. Dec. 6.
• Holiday Village in the Park: Santa will be in the Gazebo downtown for photos at this special night of music, caroling, and a full holiday village full of local food, drink, and crafts. Dec. 7.
• Sensory Santa: Children with autism and other disabilities will get to meet Santa at the Robert Livermore Community Center, where there will be softer lighting, lower background noise, and minimal decorations. Dec. 13.

Dublin:

• Holiday Tree Lighting Ceremony: Come join Santa and his elves for the lighting of a 28-foot tree, and witness a full winter wonderland outside the Civic Center. Dec. 5, 6 p.m.
• Breakfast with Santa: Enjoy pancakes, sausage, fruit, coffee and juice with Santa at the Shannon Community Center on Dec. 7.
• Hacienda Crossings Holiday Celebration and Tree Lighting: Join Santa, the Grinch, and holiday elves for a tree lighting ceremony filled with face painting, balloon artists, and special treat bags. Dec. 7.

San Ramon:

• City Center Bishop Ranch: Starting Black Friday, visit Santa at Alexander Square every weekend from 12 to 4.
• San Ramon Valley Fire Protection District Santa Parade: On Dec. 7, Santa will hop aboard a local fire truck from Athens Down Park to City Center. He will be available for photos afterward.

Danville:

• Lighting of the Old Oak Tree: On Nov. 29, Santa will join the Snow Angel in leading a countdown for the lighting of Danville's most famous tree.
• San Ramon Valley Fire Protection District Santa Parade: On Dec. 14, Santa will ride the fire truck from Camino Ramon and Fostoria to Veterans Hall.
