Targeted campaign signs of Karla Brown stolen in Mayoral race

Mayor Karla Brown had 50 campaign signs stolen off private property this weekend throughout Pleasanton triggering police involvement.

Running for public office in a small towns like Pleasanton can be challenging without having targeted attacks on your campaign signs and on social media. This weekend there were over 50 Mayor Karla Brown signs stolen off their stakes throughout Pleasanton while other political signs remained intact. The level of vitriol and misinformation seen on social media platforms directed at certain candidates during this campaign has exploded and this weekend’s targeted stealing of signs takes the level some people will go to a new low.
