Thousands Without Power In Pleasanton

A large swath west of 680 is without power in triple-digit weather.

PLEASANTON, CA — 3,049 PG&E customers are without power Thursday afternoon in Pleasanton, when temperatures have soared to 105 degrees.

The outage is affecting the areas west of 680 along Foothill Road, south of Stoneridge Drive and north of the Castlewood Country Cub.

Power is estimated to be restored at 11 p.m. Thursday, PG&E said. No reason for the outage was given.

The Pleasanton Library is open until 9 p.m. and available as a cooling center. See here for more information.
