TV30 Airs AVHS Centennial Celebrations, Vietnam Veteran Story

PLEASANTON, CA — TV30 has produced a new program celebrating the Amador Valley High School Centennial, which was celebrated in September.

The special program of the “Your Schools” program includes details on Amador Valley’s 100-year history, interviews with community members and alumni, as well as footage of the Centennial Parade and Amador Valley/Monte Vista game.

TV30 is also broadcasting a new episode of “About the Tri-Valley” about the war stories of Lieutenant William Sharp. Sharp tells host Marshall Kamena about his experiences flying F8 aircraft during the Vietnam War, which he recounted during the Rotary Club of Pleasanton’s Veterans Day event.
