Vegetation Fire Under Control In Pleasanton
The fire off Chatham Place was declared under control just after 2:30 p.m.
PLEASANTON, CA — A vegetation fire that ignited in Pleasanton Friday afternoon is declared under control, Chief Joe Testa said.
The fire on a property east of Chatham Place spanned six acres. The initial report came in at 1:47 p.m, according to the PulsePoint phone application.
No buildings were threatened, Testa said. The fire was burning towards the east.

More than 2,000 PG&E customers were without power for a couple of hours Friday afternoon. It is unknown if the outage was related to the fire.
