Do you want someone on our school board with a mature, balanced, and local perspective with true insight into the in’s and out’s of PUSD? Then vote for Jen Flynn for school board area 4.

During my time as a teacher and vice principal in Pleasanton schools, I have had the privilege of knowing Jen as an involved parent of three students, an admin secretary, and a friend. Jen is a strong advocate for our students. She has incredible compassion, integrity and an all-encompassing lens. As a parent involved with PTA and PPIE, she thinks about what would benefit a wide range of students, not just what would be best for her own children. When presented with a challenge, Jen doesn’t stop until it’s figured out. I saw her compassion, integrity, and tenacity firsthand when she was our administrative secretary. Her interactions with students, families and staff members left everyone knowing that they were seen and heard. She often made suggestions to the administrative team based on those interactions that were then implemented. One holiday, I gave Jen a sign that said, “Everything is figureoutable.” This is Jen in a nutshell. No challenge is too big. She approaches difficult topics with a level-headedness and clarity that is truly inspiring.

I have never felt more certain in endorsing a candidate. PUSD is in need of a lot of healing. Jen will help to mend broken relationships, as she is someone who we can wholeheartedly trust. Visit Jen’s website at http://votejenflynn.com for more information!
