$2K+ Worth Of Merch Stolen From Ladera Ranch Business: Police

Three suspects were apprehended and arrested during a brief foot pursuit in Lake Forest after the thefts were reported, authorities said.

LADERA RANCH, CA — Three people were arrested this week after allegedly stealing roughly $2,100 worth of merchandise from a retail store in Ladera Ranch, the Orange County Sheriff's Department reported.

The incident was reported Wednesday, April 16 at 3:30 p.m., when three individuals were reported to have fled the scene of the burglary in Ladera Ranch.

According to deputies, the suspect's vehicle was spotted in Lake Forest getting gas, leading authorities to attempt a traffic stop.

A short pursuit followed, police said, before the suspects ditched their vehicle near the Foothill Ranch Library and fled on foot.

All three suspects were arrested. The identities of the three suspects were not released.
