Brush Fire Breaks Out In OC Canyon: OCFA

SANTIAGO CANYON, CA — Orange County firefighters were hard at work Sunday night dousing a vegetation fire in Trabuco Canyon.

The fire was reported in the 7500 block of Santiago Canyon Road shortly after 10 p.m., the Orange County Fire Authority reported.

The fire was estimated to be roughly a quarter acre when fire personnel got to the scene, firefighters said. The flames were quickly doused thanks to a rapid response, with no injuries reported or structures damaged.

The cause of the fire was under investigation.
