Excessive Heat Warning In Rancho Santa Margarita Starts This Week: NWS

RANCHO SANTA MARGARITA, CA — Another heat spike is headed to Orange County, and residents can expect scorching temperatures in inland Orange County and a return of summer beach weather along the coast.

The National Weather Service issued an Excessive Heat Watch from 10 a.m. Wednesday through 8 p.m. Friday for all inland Orange County cities, including Rancho Santa Margarita.

In Rancho Santa Margarita, temperatures will climb to the low-to-mid-90s Wednesday through Friday, with light winds of up to 10 miles per hour blowing.

Rancho Santa Margarita residents can expect the hottest day on Thursday, according to the National Weather Service.

Coastal Orange County cities will see warm beach weather through the heat watch, with temperatures ranging from the high-70s to the mid-80s.

Residents were urged to stay cool by drinking plenty of fluids and limiting outdoor exposure.
