Give Blood, Help Save Lives At RSM Blood Drive: Save The Date

RANCHO SANTA MARGARITA, CA — In the hopes of alleviating what it said to be the worst blood shortage in more than a decade, the American Red Cross, in partnership with the City of Rancho Santa Margarita, is hosting a blood drive May 24.

Residents interested in donating blood can sign up for an appointment on the American Red Cross website. All donated blood will go toward patients of all ages: accident and burn victims, heart surgery and organ transplant patients, and those battling cancer.

Residents are asked to use sponsor code "CityRSM" when reserving appointments.

The blood drive will take place Tuesday, May 24 from 11:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., at the Bell Tower Regional Community Center, 22232 El Paseo.
