Man Injured In RSM Garage Fire: OCFA

RANCHO SANTA MARGARITA, CA — A man was injured in a garage fire Friday at an apartment complex in Rancho Santa Margarita.

Firefighters were dispatched at 1:25 a.m. Friday to the two-story complex, where they found heavy smoke coming from a garage, authorities said.

According to the Orange County Fire Authority, a rapid and coordinated attack allowed firefighters to knock down the blaze in 30 minutes.

The injured man suffered burns in the fire and was taken to a local hospital. His condition was not immediately known.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
