Woman In Her 60s Fatally Struck By Car In RSM: OC Sheriff

RANCHO SANTA MARGARITA, CA — A woman in her 60s died Thursday after she was hit by a car in Rancho Santa Margarita, the Orange County Sheriff's Department reported.

The crash was reported just before 8 a.m. Thursday, when deputies were dispatched to the scene of the crash in the 2300 block of Arroyo Vista.

The victim was found dead at the scene, police said. She was only identified as a woman in her 60s.

The driver of the vehicle remained at the scene and is cooperating with the investigation, police said.
