Wrong-Way Crash Kills 1, Injures 5 On 241 Toll Road

ORANGE, CA — At least one person was killed in a multi-vehicle crash Saturday on State Route 241 in Orange.
California Highway Patrol officers responded at 1:15 a.m. Saturday to the northbound state route and the Santiago Canyon Road off-ramp where they found the victim and a black sedan, a gray sedan and two other vehicles, including one on its side, the CHP said.
One person was pronounced dead at the scene.

A witness at the scene said five other people were transported to local hospitals from the crash that reportedly involved a wrong-way driver.
The CHP issued a SigAlert closing all lanes of the state highway while they investigate the circumstances surrounding the crash.
