REDONDO BEACH, CA — The BeachLife Festival, in partnership with the Los Angeles Kings, is donating $60,000 to its philanthropic partners and local nonprofit organizations including Surfrider, 5 Gyres, Life Rolls On, the Redondo Beach Police Department, Rob Machado Foundation and Walk with Sally.

The BeachLife Festival, which took place May 3-5 in Redondo Beach, fundraised for donations through general ticket sales, specially curated events, the Big Wave Awards in partnership with World Surf League, and partnering with the LA Kings, the press release said.

"From the beginning, it was very important for us to integrate some of the organizations and causes we feel passionate about into the fabric of BeachLife," said Rob Lissner, co-founder of The BeachLife Festival. "Our local community and the protection of our beaches and oceans are two of those important causes, and our partners reflect and exhibit strengths in those areas. The legacy of BeachLife should be more than an immersive festival experience; it’s about giving back through organizations that have a positive impact on our environment, the South Bay and greater Los Angeles area."
