Southbound traffic on Palos Verdes Boulevard was shut down at Sepulveda Boulevard and northbound traffic was shut down at Linda Drive.

"Very devastating moment — Texas Loosey's was burned down last night," the eatery's operators posted on Facebook Monday morning. "Luckily nobody was injured. We have lots of employees without a job so please if you guys know anyone hiring please (message) us — for dishwasher, cooks, waitresses & bartenders."

The bar was known as a popular hangout for South Bay locals, known for its monthly classic car shows, live music and karaoke nights.

Supporters of the business announced plans to hold a candlelight gathering outside the location at 6 p.m. Friday to show appreciation for the owners and the restaurant's years of operation.
