NRBBA to Quiz North Redondo Candidates

The North Redondo Beach Business Association will host a "Meet the Candidates" event for mayoral and District 4 city council candidates during the association's regular meeting at 8 a.m. Thursday at the North Branch Library.

After candidates give a brief introduction, there will be a question-and-answer period.

"Because of the limited time, we ask that you keep your questions focused on issues specific to North Redondo and our business community," NRBBA Secretary Kathy Swift said in an email to association members.

Candidates for mayor are Eric Coleman and councilmen Steve Aspel, Pat Aust and Matt Kilroy, while candidates for District 4 are Jan Jeffreys, Steve Sammarco and Julian Stern.

The event should be over by 9:30 a.m.

The North Redondo Beach Business Association, which was formed to support business along Aviation and Artesia boulevards in North Redondo Beach, meets on the second Thursday of each month.
