REDONDO BEACH, CA — The following is the most recent Redondo Beach Police Department crime blotter.

Robbery

  • May 30 - 1500 block of Hawthorne Boulevard
    • A suspect attempted to shoplift from a store but was confronted by an employee, according to police. The items were recovered.

Commercial Burglary

  • May 30-31 - 1100 block of North Harbor Drive
    • Tools and metal tulips were reported stolen from and unlocked storage room, police said. No additional information was available.

Residential Burglary

  • June 5 - 2100 block of Dufour Avenue
    • A Venton Abound electric bike was stolen from a locked community garage for an apartment, police said. No additional information was available.
  • June 1 - 2300 block of Ralston Lane
    • A man entered an unlocked and open garage and took a Super 73 bicycle from inside, police said. No additional information was available.

Taken From Vehicle

  • June 2 - 1100 block of Camino Real
    • Two suspects took a Michale Kors purse from inside an unlocked car that contained a wallet, credit cards, cash, a driver's license, mail and a work ID. The suspects were seen leaving the location in a silver Toyota Camry, police said.
  • May 30 - 200 block of Flagler Lane
    • A suspect took a wallet from the inside of an unlocked car, police said. No additional information was available.
  • May 29 - 1900 block of Gates Avenue
    • The rear wheels and tires were stolen off a yellow 2015 Toyota Scion Fr-S while it was parked in a neighborhood, police said. The suspect was seen leaving the location in an older model dark-colored Infiniti G37.
