Redondo Remains 3rd in Wyland's Water Challenge
The Wyland Foundation's Mayor's Challenge pits Southern California cities against each other in a friendly competition to see which city has the highest percentage of residents who pledge to save water and reduce waste.

With the Wyland Foundation's coming to an end Saturday, Redondo Beach continues to rank third.
Neighboring beach city Hermosa Beach remains in the top spot, and the city of Vernon, which has a population of fewer than 100 residents, is No. 2.
The regional contest ranks cities based on how many residents in the town pledge online to take the Water Challenge to save water and reduce waste—and the city with the highest percentage of its residents who pledge wins.
