Oliver's Market plans to build a larger 76,000-square-foot store at the intersection of Old Redwood Highway and Highway 116, after being in the same location for 23 years, the Press Democrat is reporting today.
"As envisioned, the new shopping plaza will include a 40,000-square-foot grocery, 14 apartments, office space, and 18,000 square feet of retail space, potentially increasing Cotati's sales tax base," the article stated.
The move would relocate Oliver's closer to downtown and fill a chunk of vacant land that the city has publicly stated it wants to attract more residential and commercial development to.
