Rohnert Park Man Arrested for Lewd Acts on a Minor
BREAKING: Michael Earl Davis, 50, allegedly pulled a 14-year-old girl toward him and touched her sexually.

ROHNERT PARK, CA -- A local man has been arrested on suspicion of committing a lewd act with a 14-year-old girl at an apartment complex, according to the Rohnert Park Department of Public Safety.
On Jan. 21, Michael Earl Davis, 50, of Rohnert Park, allegedly offered to help the girl take trash to a Dumpster at the apartment complex in the 5000 block of Dowdell Avenue in west Rohnert Park, according to police.
While walking to the Dumpster, Davis allegedly touched the girl's buttocks, put his arms around her and pulled her close to him twice, public safety officers said.

Davis also allegedly snapped the elastic of the victim's pants at the waist and tickled her. Davis also asked the girl for a hug, and when she reluctantly complied, he touched her lower back and buttocks, police said.
The girl reported the incident to her parents, who informed police around 7:20 p.m. on the day of the incident. Davis was arrested and booked into Sonoma County Jail for allegedly committing a lewd and lascivious act on a child.
