Teen Girl Accused Of Domestic Violence In Assault: Police

Officers were at a hospital with the girl who suffered lacerations when an 18-year-man entered the same hospital with multiple injuries.

ROHNERT PARK, CA β€” A teenage girl and two other people were arrested in connection with an assault of an 18-year-old man last week in Rohnert Park, police said.

At 2:25 a.m. Thursday, the Rohnert Park Department of Public Safety received a 911 call about a girl who'd just been stabbed. Officers located the girl in the 7300 block of Boris Court. She had lacerations on her legs and was taken to an area hospital, Rohnert Park DPS Spokesperson J.P. Pritchard said.

While at the hospital with the girl, officers noticed an 18-year-old man come into the same hospital. He was suffering from a laceration to his arm and had multiple head injuries, including a swollen eye and numerous contusions, Pritchard said.

The investigation revealed the two girls and an 18-year-old woman were at a residence on Boris Court and invited the 18-year-old man to the residence.

A verbal altercation between the 18-year-old man and one of the teenage girls led to a physical altercation involving the three females against the male, Pritchard said.

Following an investigation, Rohnert Park DPS arrested one of the teenage girls on suspicion of felony domestic violence and felony assault.

The other teenage girl was also arrested on suspicion of assault, and the 18-year-old woman was arrested on suspicion of misdemeanor providing false identification to a peace officer and misdemeanor violation of pre-trial supervision.

Rohnert Park DPS is also seeking an assault charge against the 18-year-old woman, Pritchard said.

The two girls and the 18-year-old woman were treated at the hospital, then booked into the relevant Sonoma County detention facilities. Their names were not disclosed by police.

This investigation was ongoing Monday; police asked anyone with information on the case to contact Detective Kevin Escher at 707-588-3542 and refer to case number 23-2940.
