Viewfinder: Crosswalk Where 2-Year-Old Was Run Over Gets Revamp

Construction crews striped in a bolder, more visible crosswalk at the intersection of Medical Center Drive and Snyder Lane, Dec. 1. 

Crews painted the borders of the crosswalks in with a fresh coat of white paint, and painted horizontal stripes across them as well, for better visibility. New crosswalks were also painted in at the intersection of San Francisco Way and Snyder Lane, and on streets parallel to Snyder Lane. Click through the photos for the slideshow.

The project is part of an effort to stripe in new crosswalks at 75 intersections citywide. .
